Access RX Wellness
Guiding Right’s Access RX Wellness Program helps alleviate many financial burdens related to medication and/or office visit copays.
NAVIGATION & SUPPORT SERVICES
Our Navigation and Support Services Program is the enhancement of our internal prevention, testing and linkage to care programs; while further building collaborative partnerships with HIV medical care providers and other social support service agencies. This network will fortify the continuum of care appropriate for our clients, by providing enhanced service delivery, increased capacity, and improved collaboration ultimately leading to the achievement of improved health outcomes.
FreshLife
This nutrition support program is dedicated to addressing food insecurity among individuals at high-risk for HIV acquisition and/or already living with HIV/AIDS. Recognizing that access to healthy food is a key component of overall health and treatment success, FreshLIFE provides clients with fresh fruits, vegetables, and locally sourced goods tailored to meet their dietary needs.
New Hope Wellness Center
This patient-centered healthcare facility, which also operates a pharmacy, provides ambulatory medical care to Black and Hispanic/Latinx individuals living with HIV in Western Oklahoma Service Area. The clinic provides a full spectrum of core medical and supportive services, including HIV primary care, access to antiretroviral therapy (ART), individualized case management, mental health counseling, and medication access through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to address the unique medical, emotional, and social challenges our clients face, especially those residing in underserved or rural communities.
PrEP ACCESS
The PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) Access Program provides individuals at risk for HIV with access to daily medication that significantly reduces the chance of infection. The program offers education, screenings, prescription support, and assistance with insurance or financial aid to ensure PrEP is accessible and affordable for all eligible participants.
GRI RIDES
GRI Rides is our transportation assistance program designed to support individuals at high risk for HIV acquisition and/or those already living with HIV/AIDS. The program helps reduce barriers to care by providing reliable transportation to essential services that support overall health and well-being. This includes transportation to medical appointments such as routine check-ups, HIV primary care, and specialist visits; trips to pharmacies to pick up prescribed medications, including antiretroviral therapy; and rides to grocery stores or food pantries to help ensure access to nutritious food.
Health Screenings
Health Screenings and Promotion
This program offers a wide range of free and confidential health screenings, including testing for HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Viral Hepatitis, ensuring early detection and timely intervention. In addition to clinical services, the program provides engaging HIV prevention educational workshops, training, and community presentations aimed at increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting safer practices. PrEP navigation Integrated mental health and substance abuse services are available to address co-occurring behavioral health needs, alongside transportation assistance to eliminate barriers to accessing care.
Guiding Right: Helping Others Find Their Way
HIV/AIDS is a highly stigmatized disease, especially within the African American community; therefore, acquiring the virus often produces feelings of fear, shame, and isolation. This hinders so many who have been infected with or affected by the disease from accessing proper treatment and care and/or support services. Hence, the beginning of GRI, whose aim is to promote and provide culturally appropriate education and life skills training to persons of all ages to decrease social, economic, and health disparities including (HIV/AIDS) for high risk populations with special emphasis on women, African Americans and youth within the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and the Tulsa MSA.
Choosing Life: Empowerment! Action! Results!
CLEAR! (Choosing Life: Empowerment! Action! Results!) is an evidence-based, health promotion intervention for males and females ages 16 and older living with HIV/AIDS or at high-risk for HIV. CLEAR is a client-centered program delivered one-on-one using cognitive behavioral techniques to change behavior patterns that place individuals at risk for Sexually Transmitted Infections.
OUTREACH Services: Health Education and Risk Reduction
Guiding Right’s OUTREACH Services program encourages prevention of HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infection’s (STIs). Outreach services are provided in high-risk areas/venues where risky behaviors have been known to take place. The goal of this program is to promote risk reduction practices to individuals at risk for HIV/AIDS/STIs and offer referrals for other needed services.
