Overview of GRI’s Programs

Guiding Right, Inc., is Oklahoma’s flagship Black health organization, established in 1999.

HIV/AIDS

GRI’s HIV/AIDS Prevention program began nearly 25 years. It includes free health screenings, testing, counseling, medication and much more.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)

GRI offers FREE STI health screenings and testing. Also, counseling, medication and more.

Women, Infants & Children

WIC is a federally funded program administered by the Oklahoma State Department of Health through Guiding Right that provides nutrition education and supplemental foods for those who qualify.

Tobacco Control

Smoke Free Roots is GRI’s  Tobacco Prevention program. Our goal is to eliminate tobacco-related health disparities among African Americans living in Oklahoma.

COVID-19

People of Color have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the CDC, deaths from COVID-19 among people of color are nearly twice that of whites . GRI provides safe COVID-19 vaccines and boosters to children and youth in the Black community.

Vaccinations

GRI is committed to providing safe vaccines to our friends and family in the Black community. We provide FREE vaccines to children and adults. Available vaccines include routine childhood vaccines; COVID-19 vaccines and boosters for infants through adults; flu vaccines and other vaccines to prevent and/or reduce the impact of sexually transmitted infections.
