Wellness Reentry Action Program (WRAP)

Oklahoma incarcerates women at almost twice that of the national average. Oklahoma males fare somewhat better and rank fifth in per capita incarceration rates nationally. WRAP is designed to foster offenders a smooth transition back into the community and reduce recidivism rates among African Americans. The program also offers substance abuse education, HIV/AIDS precetion education, mentoring, life skills and employment assistance for individuals incarcerated and formally incarcerated.
