It's A Family Affair
The goal of the program is to educate and facilitate basic skills for the prevention and cessation of three major health issues in Oklahoma-obesity, tobacco cessation and family planning. The program focuses on awareness and prevention that allow individuals and families to accept ownership of their health condition and affairs. The program is designed to disseminate health information and provide life skills education by conducting 60-minute wellness sessions held weekly for 4 weeks and program facilitators are community health educators.
